Admissions

The YALI Regional Leadership Center East Africa (RLC EA) provides young East and Central African leaders between the ages of 18-35 with the necessary skills, tools, opportunities, and networks to better serve their communities and countries. The programme offers in-person/residential, online/virtual, and blended/hybrid training in Business and Entrepreneurship, Civic Leadership, Public Management, and sector-specific programmes.

The selection process for participation in the YALI Regional Leadership Center East Africa Programme is merit-based, open competition, and anchored on diversity, equity, equality, and inclusion. The program is deliberate in championing Gender Equality, Safeguarding, and Social Inclusion policies to ensure that underrepresented youths get the opportunity to participate. All eligible applications will be reviewed by a selection panel. Chosen semi-finalists will then be interviewed before a final selection is made and an invitation to join the program is issued.
